What is postpartum?
Postpartum is the recovery period following childbirth. It's different for every woman, but it can be extremely difficult for moms both physically and mentally. Symptoms can last days, weeks, months or years.
It can be hard for a mom to understand what she's going through because it's unlike anything else.
If your wife breaks out crying during postpartum and you ask why, she might say "I don't know" and it's the truth! It's likely a combination of hormonal and emotional swings, along with pain and discomfort.
These are the most common symptoms. Click here for more details on each one.

Offer to take the baby so she can nap
Make sure she drinks enough water - keep her numa water bottle full
Make sure she eats enough, breastfeeding burns a lot of calories
Buy a peri bottle for each bathroom
Do laundry, OR buy more tank tops and undies :)
